Competitions consist of five major competitions, regular midweek and weekend qualifying competitions, and a variety of pairs and team competitions. Members of the club can also take part in a number of York Union competitions.

Between April and September all individual competitions count towards the Order of Merit, with points being awarded for the top 10 finishers in normal club competitions and top 15 in majors.  The winner of the Order of Merit is the player with the most points after the final qualifying competition takes place at the end of September.  The top 10 finishers are invited to a day of golf and meal at a prestigious course.

During the summer we also run knockout competitions.  Look out on the notice board for details.

It is important to note that whenever taking part in a club competition, or competition where you are representing the club, you are subject to the Club Competition & General Conduct Rules.  By taking part in any of these competitions you are agreeing to abide by those rules.
